In [Foucaud's] body of work, delicate leaves of different kinds are reproduced in gold metal and engraved using a highly meticulous technique, the guillochage, before being placed onto concrete blocks that she shapes herself. Fragility meets solidity, the ephemeral becomes enduring. Her compositions organically demonstrate her fascination for nature.
Through her artwork we enter a space where
the fragile become unbreakable,
reflecting on the strength of nature
and the space we leave for it.
